Hinote takes data privacy of users of its websites and mobile applications seriously. This statement presents the features of our privacy policy including the information that Hinote collects about you as a visitor to our website / user of our web and mobile applications, how Hinote will use the information and how Hinote may share the information.

Information that we collect

As part of Hinote’s service delivery, customers and visitors to our website may upload data to our website/mobile applications. 

When you visit our website and make an enquiry on our site, the data we collect shall include your name, contact details such as email, address and contact number, your comments including those that you make on our blog posts.

When you use our web / mobile application, the data we collect include your name, organization name, employee ID, pay and other information which may be required for the purpose of our service delivery. You can choose not provide the information we seek. However, that may hamper delivery of our software/services. 

In addition to the above, we may collect information automatically when you visit/use our website/mobile application. When you use our online services, our servers automatically record and store information from the browser from which your request originates. Such log data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. We may receive reports from our partners on user behaviour on our website/mobile application. The mobile app uses third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

If you have applied for a job with us, we will use your data to evaluate your candidature for positions with us.

Hinote will not share or distribute any customer data except as provided in the contractual agreement between Hinote and the customer, or as may be required by law.

We may provide information on a need-basis to other trusted businesses for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. Examples of these are functions including mailing information, maintaining databases, processing payments, hosting, analyzing data, maintenance and other services for us. When we employ such companies, we only provide them information that they need for their specific function and we require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy

Hinote’s Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. In the case we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

Security

Hinote employs reasonable and appropriate physical and logical security measures to protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, and unintentional disclosure, alteration, or destruction. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password or other form of authentication involved in accessing password-protected or secured resources. In order to protect you and your information, Hinote may suspend your use of a website/mobile application without notice, pending an investigation, if any security breach is suspected.

We will retain your personal information only as long as needed to provide you with services or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data entered into Hinote’s website/mobile applications is retained in accordance with the agreement between Hinote and its customer.
